The Definition of Support
The definition of supporting the troops that is. That is the term we all need to have a real clear understanding of today. Yesterday, actually, yesterday would have been a good fucking time to have a crystal clear definition of what that term actually means.
These scummy, filthy fucking rich Republicunt types love to rail on and on about how much they support the troops. Every fucking time you turn around you are practically assaulted with the proclamations of how much they support the troops. Hell, its gone beyond the politicians, now their brainless army of sheople are sporting that classy Bush-Cheney 04 sticker and right next to it is a little ribbon declaring for all the world to see their support of the troops.
Yet I see a small, tiny, blaring, out in the open problem with these dirty bastards.
They aren’t actually following through with their stated sentiment. This is a problem. It is kind of like lying, only worse. Worse because the lie doesn’t affect one or two people within the immediate vicinity (read “No Timmy, daddy didn’t gamble your college fund away at the casino, and no daddy didn’t hire a hooker with it…chuckle chuckle), this lie is affecting thousands of people. It is affecting my friends and former co-workers. It is affecting the military that protects this nation. And since you conservative cock mongering fucksticks love to go on about how much protection this country needs (protection from the idiots running it maybe, but that’s neither here nor there), but you are debunking the system vital to that protection. What the fuck? Do you assholes ever bother to think before you dive into the shit storm?
Yes, there is a reason behind this sudden burst of anger. Useless, futile anger it might be, after all, why the fuck should the government listen to me, but anger none-the-less.
That bullshit stimulus package that will save America from a dying economy had money set aside for veterans’ assistance. Money to help pay for rehabilitation services, hospitals bills, the kind of shit this nations’ vets have been needing since the start of the fucking war. Sounds like a great way to support our vets! YAY AMERICA!
