No more cement shoes for the Mafia
Not in Sicily, Italy at any rate. A large Italian cement company has decided to pull out of Sicily as a public ‘fuck you’ to the mob. I guess they are tired of the Italian government not cracking down on the mafia, or maybe they are just tired of paying out money to the mob. Either way, the mob in Sicily has just received a major and public blow from a business. Bad news when you consider that the mob has their hands in MANY businesses across Italy, and when one says go to hell, then it is only a matter of time until the rest follow suite.

While American businessmen are the new face of extortion and organized crime across the globe, the old world is being phased out.
