Before anyone throws a fit about this, understand that I don’t find all cops to be reprehensive, hypocritical, wearisome little leeches, but today I do find at least one to be. I might have found more had I spent more time on the road this afternoon, but since I despise playing with idiots on these roads, that wasn’t about to happen.

At any rate I’m on the way home this afternoon, and in front of me is a big, gas guzzling, Ford, owned and operated by the Pierce County Sheriff’s department. Forgetting the fact that knowing perfectly good tax dollars are being wasted on a fucking Ford, this prick was driving ten miles below the speed limit. Initially I thought the people in front of him were going slow so they could avoid that ticket (cause you know, Washington State Police are out and about fighting crime by hammering those dangerous, threatening, hardened fucking criminals who SPEED! Nevermind the rising violent crime rate…), but no. There was not one fucking vehicle in front of the asshole cop. He was going slow because he was talking on his cell phone. Nothing to be concerned with there I suppose, until you remember that a few months back Washington State enacted a law allowing cops to ticket you for using your cell phone while driving.

I can get a fucking ticket for using my cell phone while I’m driving, but a cop can use his fucking cell phone while driving? Is it just me or is this a double fucking standard? Next time I get pulled over, and I have a cell phone to my ear, and they want to ticket me for doing thus, I’m going to tell them be fucked, I saw a cop doing this.
