FEMA: Federal Fools on Parade
Yes, I know the words don’t match the letters, but I don’t care. For those of you who have not yet heard about the latest little blunder, let me be the first to inform you.
FEMA decided to hold a news conference, to discuss the agencies actions in Southern California and blah blah blah. Well and good I suppose, until you consider the fact that all of the so called ‘reporters’ were FEMA employees. The White House is calling this action an “error in judgment”. I’m calling it a colossally stupid decision by an agency run by a bunch anal-retentive, ineffective, blithering idiots. I like my version better than the White House version. And so do you.
Even better is the fact that with fifteen minutes notice given to real reports is that, as one would expect, many reporters were unable to make the press conference. So what on earth was the beleaguered agency to do to ensure that ‘crucial information’ reach the adoring public? They gave out an 800 number for real reporters to call, which apparently many reporters did call. Only problem was the fact the reporters got a nice listen-only version of the press conference.
Well people, hope you don’t have a disaster in your state cause these are the assholes who are coming to take care of you. Maybe. If they feel like it. They might decided to send Blackwater instead.
